What
I do
I'm a software engineer who enjoys understanding how software works as a whole. My strongest area is backend development with Go, JavaScript, and TypeScript, but I also enjoy frontend work and taking ownership of a product from idea to production.
What I enjoy most is system design and architecture: how services communicate, how data moves, where things can fail, and how everything should be structured before implementation. I care about clean design too, like repository patterns, clear separation of concerns, and well-defined service boundaries.
That interest has pulled me into backend systems, cloud infrastructure, observability, real-time applications, and distributed systems, with Go, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, AWS, and Docker. I'm also exploring AI agents and developer tools where AI meets backend systems and infrastructure.

AI reads the messy inputs — receipts, bills, financial evidence — but the affordability call itself is computed from explicit rules, so the same inputs always produce the same recommendation.
